The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is a vehicle manufactured by Bugatti, and was the fastest production car at its introduction, capable of reaching a top speed of over 400 km/h.
"Veyron" refers to Pierre Veyron, a Bugatti development engineer, test driver and company race driver which, alongside co-driver Jean-Pierre Wimille, won the 1939 24 Hours of Le Mans while driving a Bugatti.
The "16.4" refers to the 16 cylinder W engine crafted from the combination of two V8 engines, as well as the additional 4 turbochargers. The car also features variable aerodynamics, in which the vehicle's ride height and rear wing angles changes in three positions - standard, top speed, and handling mode.
